ARTWORK

December saw the release of my latest work, Our Fabric Within. I decided to combine the two 20″ x 16″ works that showcased my new Modernity fabrics.

The resulting work is this 20″ x 30″ geometric piece. To me, this collage represents the self-reflective power of fabric. The colors, patterns and textures positioned as segments and whole pieces that make up the fabric of ourselves.

I love the colors in the blue and yellow family united together. The upholstery fabrics have been part of my signature for a while now as they add weight and texture.

The fringe on the upholstery fabric is more organic.
Another upholstery fabric gives a “lighter” texture to the piece, thus adding more visual interest.
The yellow, brown and the rich colors in between next to the black and white are divine.
